Jared Szychter
President
Jared founded and leads 1932 Capital Management, the single-family office of the Brown family, where he is responsible for portfolio construction, asset allocation, and the strategic structure and governance of the family enterprise. Building on that foundation, he helped establish 1932 Capital Partners as the dedicated private equity arm of the platform. Prior to building 1932 Capital, Jared spent nearly a decade at Grant Thornton in the Private Wealth Services practice, advising ultra-high-net-worth families and closely-held business owners on complex tax, estate planning, and wealth structuring matters – with meaningful exposure to ownership transitions and business transactions along the way. He also served on the executive management team of a family office organized as a private bank and trust company. Jared holds a Master of Taxation from Villanova University and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Delaware, has completed the Yale School of Management investment management program, and holds the CPA designation and CIMA® certification.
Jared calls the Philadelphia area home, where he lives with his family. Outside the office, you'll find him coaching youth baseball, cheering on his sons, or on the golf course – though he insists all three require a very similar amount of patience.
